The Terriers took down the University of New Hampshire in double overtime on Sunday at Agganis Arena to advance to the semifinals of the Hockey East tournament.
BU goaltender Kieran Millan stopped 68 shots in the double OT win, breaking the previous tournament record of 65 held by Providence's Chris Terreri. Alex Chiasson, meanwhile, supplied the game-winning goal.
In other Hockey East action, Maine snuck past Merrimack 2-1, and Providence took a step toward an improbable run with a 1-0 shutout of UMass-Lowell.
