It’s been a rough year for the Toronto Maple Leafs and their fans, but there is good news: Baseball season is on the way.
The Leafs got their doors blown off again on Thursday night, losing 7-1 to the Philadelphia Flyers, and that had fans turning their attention toward the upcoming Blue Jays season.
Fans started chanting “Let’s go Blue Jays!” during the game, a contest that dropped Toronto to 33-36-9 on the season.
You know things are bad when a fanbase thinks it’s an upgrade to put its support behind a team that still could very easily finish fourth in its own division.
