New Bruins Defenseman Torey Krug Scores Sick Shootout Goal During Michigan State Practice (Video)

Bruins fans, meet Torey Krug.

The defenseman joined the B's after signing with the club as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State on Sunday, and he hit the ice in Black and Gold for the first time on Tuesday at the team's morning skate at TD Garden.

While Krug might not see much action in Boston's remaining six games — he was a healthy scratch on Tuesday night against the Lightning — and he is ineligible for the club's postseason roster, it likely won't stop the 5-foot-9 blue liner from working hard to impress his teammates and coaches.

Krug did just that while playing at Michigan State, serving as the Spartans' captain for the past two years, even becoming a Hobey Baker Award finalist this season after posting career bests in goals (12), assists (22) and points (34) as a junior.

But Krug really impressed during practice, particularly when he and his teammates would have an opportunity to showcase their skills during shootouts. Check out one of Krug's impressive shootout goals in the video below.
