The Bruins were seen as being too tentative in the offensive end during Thursday night's loss in San Jose. On Saturday, the B's put on more of a full court press on the offensive end as they really attacked the Kings.
Brad Marchand was extremely aggressive during the second period and was able to set up an ideal opportunity for forward Patrice Bergeron, who capitalized on the swift moving Marchand to net one past Kings' goalie Jonathan Quick.
Bergeron netted his 20th goal of the season on a long rebound out in the zone, following Marchand's hard fight deep in the zone. The shot was a sweet one right past a diving Quick to give the B's a 1-0 lead.
