Brandon Meriweather has found a home.

The former Patriots and Bears safety has signed a two-year, $6 million deal with the Washington Redskins, according to The Washington Post.

Meriweather, the 24th overall pick by the Pats in 2007, had his best year in 2009 when he recorded 83 tackles and five interceptions. The Miami product was cut by the Pats in early September last year and signed by the Bears to a one-year deal. In Chicago, he started four off 11 games and notched 32 tackles.
