Rob Gronkowski to Speak at University of Rhode Island as Part of ‘An Evening With Gronk’

"An evening with 'Gronk.'"

That's the title for Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski's upcoming speech at the University of Rhode Island, which will take place at the campus' Edwards Auditorium on April 12.

So what exactly will this get-together entail?

Well, as of right now, it's unclear, as the school's website is promoting the event simply as, "SEC Presents Robert Gronkowski from the New England Patriots!!"

Those double exclamation points can't be good, though. Or they could be fantastic, depending on which side of the fence — students or faculty — you're on.

Gronk could end up just telling the students to cherish their time in college, work hard, study hard, etc., etc. But we'd like to believe otherwise, as that isn't nearly as fun as envisioning what "an evening with Gronk" could really include.

Of course, that's if you could handle the puck-spiking, Zubaz pants-wearing, Spanish-speaking dancing machine for a night. And let's be real here; few probably could.

But hey, for only $7, why not give it a whirl? Get ready to get Gronk'd, URI.

Quote of the Day

"We're adding another player and were not replacing anybody. I mean, [Tim Tebow]'s here to help us and I'm confident in my abilities. I know the team feels the same way about me. They have belief in me. … I'm not worried about losing my spot."
— Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, clearly in denial.
