It's hard to believe that Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos just turned 22. The talented forward has reached the 50-goal mark for the second time in his NHL career — in just his fourth season — and has three 40-plus goal seasons.
In fact, Stamkos has more goals (169) than any other player in the NHL since the start of the 2008-09 season, edging out the likes of Alex Ovechkin, Patrick Marleau, Ilya Kovalchuk and Corey Perry.
Stamkos netted two in the Lightning's win over the Bruins on Tuesday, including No. 50, which is good enough for the two-time All-Star to earn the Ketel One Honorable Moment.
