Tim Thomas has been a popular athlete in the Boston area for quite some time, but after the Bruins' Stanley Cup victory last June, the Boston netminder suddenly started getting more and more recognition on a national stage.

One of the quirks that accompanies such fame is the ability to star in commercials, which Thomas has done recently. The 37-year-old said that he's gotten a lot of compliments as a result of his acting performance, but he now has a greater appreciation for how hard actors work on a daily basis.
