Tim Thomas came up huge for the Bruins when it mattered most during the team’s Stanley Cup run.
This season, Boston will need their goaltender to come up big again, especially while playing without backup goalie Tuukka Rask. With the No. 2 goalie spot up for grabs at the moment, it stands to reason that Thomas will see an increased workload during a very busy stretch for the Bruins.
Is it a good thing that he’ll get more reps? Or should the team be worried that the 37-year-old could wear down with the increased playing time?
