Vote: How Far Will the Celtics Go in the 2012 Playoffs? The NBA trade deadline has come and gone, and the Celtics are sticking their guns.

Those guns are named Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett.

For the past few weeks, the Boston Celtics have been the center of just about every trade rumor as their inconsistent play has them sitting at seventh place in the Eastern Conference. If the playoffs started tomorrow, the Celtics would have the daunting task of facing the Miami Heat in the first round.

Many experts have suggested that the window for the Celts to contend for a NBA Championship has passed and they should blow up the team. Apparently, Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers felt differently.

Now, the injury-plagued Celtics will have to work with what they’ve got with only 24 games left in the 2012 NBA season. Will this squad have enough to make a deep run in this year’s playoffs? Or are the Celtics setting themselves up for a first round exit?

Cast your vote below and let us know what you think.

After not making a move at the NBA Trade Deadline, how far will the Celtics get in the playoffs?
