Bruins Fans Worry About Johnny Boychuk as ‘Mr. Irrelevant’ Sidney Crosby Leads Penguins to Meaningless Win (Video)

Tuesday night’s game wasn’t supposed to matter for the Bruins, since they’re locked into the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference for the playoffs. When Johnny Boychuck went down with an injury, however, things got real in a hurry.

The Bruins lost the game and potentially more when Boychuck collided with Arron Asham and left the game with a lower-body injury. Obviously, with two games left before the postseason, the B’s can’t afford to have him missing too much time.

Sidney Crosby scored twice so NESN Nation’s Dan Duquette is giving him the “Mr. Irrelevant” award, but we don’t really care about that. We just want to know if Boychuck is OK.
