The Bruins and Capitals may be taking a back seat to the Penguins and Flyers when it comes to national interest in the Eastern Conference opening playoff round, but B's and Caps fans know that when these two teams get together, sparks can certainly fly.

In November 1998 — the first game between the two clubs since the Caps knocked the B's out of the playoffs the year before — the two clubs engaged in one of the most exciting line brawls in recent Bruins history. Just how good was it? Let's just say it involved Dale Hunter, Don Sweeney, Ken Belanger, Ken Baumgartner, goalies (and best friends) Byron Dafoe and Olaf Kolzig, and Craig Berube.
