Peyton Manning's time in Indianapolis is officially over, and the Colts aren't going to let the banner hit him on his way out.

The Colts took down a huge "Thank You Peyton!" banner from the side of Lucas Oil Stadium on Wednesday, and the Indianapolis Star was there to chronicle its step-by-step dismantling.

Management had put the banner up the day after Manning left the Colts, Indianapolis Chief Operating Officer Pete Ward told the Indianapolis Star. It went down Wednesday because that's when "a crane was available," he said.
