Karl Alzner Asking for Painful Lesson From Milan Lucic (Videos)

Milan Lucic has taught a lot of opponents some very important lessons over the years.

If Bruins fans are lucky, Karl Alzner may be his next student.

The Capitals defenseman started barking at Lucic earlier this year after the two got into it during a game in March. Alzner picked things up a notch by calling the B’s forward a cry-baby after a whistle. Alzner, knowing because it’s the playoffs that the chance of Lucic getting him one-on-one is slim, was able to talk a big game with the B’s brawler on Monday night.

But what would happen of the two squared off? Sure, it’s the postseason and head coach Claude Julien doesn’t want his top-line winger in the box or locker room, but if hockey fans have learned anything this postseason, it’s that players are out for blood.

If the two did get the chance to dance, it’s safe to say that Alzner, who has one career NHL fight and three career WHL fights, would be the underdog. Lucic has 40 career regular-season scraps, not to mention a  handful of pre- and postseason fights and 21 fights in his first season in the WHL alone.

Check out the videos below to get a better idea of how a fight between the two may end up.
