Sick.
That’s perhaps the most accurate description of Milan Lucic‘s goal against the Penguins on Tuesday night, which tied the game in the opening minute of the second period.
After the puck was launched into the zone, the Bruins went on the attack, with Lucic firing a shot on net that was steered aside by Penguins netminder Brent Johnson. A heads-up David Krejci was able to gather the rebound and dish a nasty, no-look feed to Lucic, who bagged the goal.
The B’s eventually lost the game 5-3, but there’s no doubt that this particular goal was awesome in every sense of the word. And for that, it’s this week’s Captain Morgan Goal of the Week.
