Patrice Bergeron has been a catalyst for the Bruins recent resurgence heading into the playoffs. But the skilled forward isn’t happy with just getting into the postseason.
Bergeron, who was given a breather and didn’t travel to Ottawa on Thursday, is confident in the way the Bruins have played of late and believes in the teams will for another Stanley Cup push. The often-overlooked forward expressed the team’s motto in his interview with NESN’s Dale Arnold on Thursday, insisting the B’s are still taking things one game at a time.
The Bruins alternate captain expanded upon the Bruins season, so far, and said he feels flattered to be mentioned in the conversation for the 2012 Selke Award.
