Many hockey teams play soccer outisde of their locker room hallways as a way to stay loose and blow off some steam before a big game. Ryan Ellis might think twice before joining in the fun next time.
The Predators defenseman took a soccer ball to the groin during warmups before Game 4 of the Nashville-Detroit series, and the cameras were rolling. Hockey Night in Canada announcer Ron MacLean narrates it eloquently, pointing out that Ellis suffered a "ping-pong in the ding dong."
