Rich Peverley helped spark the Bruins onto a 4-3 victory over the Washington Capitals on Monday night.
The game was chocked full of excitement with plenty of scoring, eye-popping saves and tons of brawling. But while both sides traded goals, up until the end of the third period, Peverley showed off some flashiness with his stick.
The 29-year-old forward lifted a sweet shot from just left of the net, up and over Capitals goalie Braden Holtby's shoulder and into the top corner of the net. Peverley's first goal of the playoffs tied the game up at 1-1 and help propel the Bruins on to a 2-1 series lead.
