Which of the Bruins' Potential Eastern Conference Playoff Opponents Is Most Dangerous? The Bruins have the Northeast Division locked up and have assured themselves of home-ice advantage through at least the first two rounds thanks to their No. 2 seed in the standings.

However, that doesn’t mean they’ll have an easy go of it against anybody.

The Eastern Conference is filled with plenty of challengers ready for a chance at unseating the Bruins and ending the B’s effort at becoming the first team to repeat as Stanley Cup champions since the Detroit Red Wings in 1998.

The Bruins will visit one challenger on Tuesday night, travelling to Pittsburgh for a measuring-stick game against Sidney Crosby and the Penguins. While the Bruins are coming off an emotional win against New York on Sunday, however, the Pens will be playing angry after losing to rival Philadelphia that same day.

Besides the Rangers, Penguins and Flyers, there are plenty of other upstarts sure to be hoping for a chance at the Bruins. Ottawa seems a likely first-round opponent, while Florida, Washington, Buffalo and New Jersey are also in the mix to be potential foes down the road.

While the Bruins are playing well, anything can happen in a seven-game series. Which team do you think could pose the biggest problem for the B’s out East?
