With the Players Championship quickly approaching, one hot name on the PGA circuit announced that he will not be participating in the big tournament.
Bubba Watson went on his Twitter account and told fans that he will not be playing in the upcoming tourney. In a series of tweets, Watson told his 570,000-plus followers that he will skip the event, not due to injury, but to spend time with his family.

Watson recently hit a career peak when he took home the coveted green jacket at The Masters, winning at Augusta in a playoff over Louis Oosthuizen. Watson's triumph in April was his first Major championship victory.
The 33-year-old Watson turned pro in 2003 and his victory at Augusta was the fourth of his PGA career. Watson had played at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans last week, finishing 18th at -11. Watson has been busy in 2012, playing in 10 tournaments so far this season.
