Contributions From Entire Roster Highlight Red Sox’ Recent League-Best Record (Video)

The Red Sox have the league's best record since May 11, helped by their recent surge against the Tigers.

"It was a good, tough win," Peter Gammons said of the Red Sox' 6-4 victory Wednesday night over the Detroit Tigers.

The game featured contributions from just about everyone on the field for Boston, including a gutty effort by Jon Lester after a rough first three innings, home runs by David Ortiz, Will Middlebrooks and Kevin Youkilis, and a solid effort out of the bullpen by Andrew Miller and Alfredo Aceves.

Gammons lists the multitude of contributors to the Red Sox' recent success on NESN Daily.
