Daniel Nava Deflects Attention to Rest of Red Sox, Learns to Let Game Come to Him (Video)

When you've had the kind of fringe Major League career that Daniel Nava has had thus far, it might be tempting to dwell on the sustained success he's had while the Red Sox' presumed starting outfielders work their way back from injury. With a .432 on-base percentage through his first 20 games filling in for his bigger-name teammates, Nava probably deserves a chance to revel in his good play.

However, after Wednesday night's 6-4 win over the Detroit Tigers, all Nava could do was deflect attention away from his stellar play — including throwing out Alex Avila at second trying to stretch a single into a double — to the rest of the club.

Listen to Nava talk about the Red Sox' total team effort on Red Sox Clubhouse Uncut.
