Derrick Rose's Absence Already Felt, As Bulls Much Less Fierce Without Reigning MVP
The Chicago Bulls were thought to have enough firepower to overcome the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round of the playoffs despite losing Derrick Rose.

Not so fast.

The Sixers embarrassed the Rose-less Bulls on their home floor in Game 2, tying the best-of-seven series at a game apiece, and raising questions as to whether Chicago can overcome the loss of their All-Star point guard.

The Bulls did a good job of surviving the regular season and coming away with the No. 2 seed in the East. But although they temporarily put a stop to what could have been an endless free fall, when push comes to shove, Chicago isn't quite primed to continue on without the reigning MVP.

Tuesday's loss proved that.
