Fenway Sports Management (FSM) announced on Thursday that Joe Hockenjos has been hired as the Senior Vice President of Sales.

At FSM, Hockenjos will be responsible for selling integrated scholarships and marketing partnerships across Fenway Sports Group's portfolio of properties with a focal point on Liverpool, the Red Sox, Roush Fenway Racing/LRMR Marketing and Branding, and NESN. Executive Vice President of Sales, Frank Huckabone, will oversee Hockenjos' work.

The 25-year veteran is familiar with sales. Before joining FSM, Hockenjos led the Business Development and Sports Sales divisions for NCC Media, a company owned jointly by Time Warner, Cox Communications and Comcast that represents cable ad sales. While at NCC Media, he helped secure national representation for regional sports networks, such as SportsNet NY and Sportstime Ohio, and agreements with DirecTV and Dish Network.

FSM President Sam Kennedy spoke highly of Hockenjos and on behalf of the company, says he is excited for what is to come.

"Joe brings a wealth of sales experience, a proven track record of delivering value for some of the most respected brands in professional and college sports, and a keen understanding of broadcast and new media sponsorships," Kennedy said. "We look forward to having Joe join the FSM family and helping us drive revenue for our blue chip properties and clients."

Hockenjos expressed a sense of gratitude for this opportunity and seems energetic about his new position with the company.

"It's truly a privilege to join one of the world's preeminent sports sponsorship sales organizations," said Hockenjos. "I look forward to working alongside Frank and the rest of the team to help generate sales for FSM's impressive client roster of elite international brands."
