Jonathan Quick has been outstanding this postseason, looking a lot like the unbelievable goalie he's been billed as for a few seasons.
Quick has lead the Los Angeles Kings from the shadows of an eight seed in the Western Conference all the way to a Stanley Cup Finals berth. The talented 26-year-old will take the ice opposite three-time Stanley Cup champion Martin Brodeur on Wednesday, and he'll need one heck of a blueprint to pull off the victory.
The Kings netminder appears to be following the blueprint set by Boston Bruins goalie Tim Thomas, who last season willed his team to a Cup championship. Quick is taking notes from Thomas run and hopes to implement the strategy in the upcoming finals.
Jim Fox of Fox Sports joined Randy Scott on NESN Daily on Tuesday night to talk about Quick and the upcoming series.
Check out the video above to hear more about Quick's connection to Thomas and who Fox believes has the edge to win the Stanley Cup.
