But while the Worcester Tornadoes are giving the 47-year-old another shot at resurrecting his baseball career, he’s hoping that his model ex-girlfriend Leila Shennib might do the same with their relationship.
Canseco, who has had an on-again, off-again relationship with Shennib for a few years now, has taken to Twitter recently to try and win back her affection. The couple was last spotted together on April 21, 2012, when Canseco announced his signing with the Tornadoes.
While the relationship may never truly be resurrected, Canseco is certainly holding out hope.
