Josh Beckett Must 'Stay Angry' to Continue Leading Resurgent Red Sox Rotation (Podcast)Josh Beckett was angry. And for the Red Sox, it appears that was a good thing.

After getting yanked to a chorus of boos from his start on May 10 against the Indians, Beckett has roared back and is looking better than ever his last few times on the mound.

After dominating in back-to-back starts, the Red Sox starter continued to roll against the Rays his last time out, holding Tampa Bay in check for another seven innings. That was a game the Sox ultimately rallied to win in the ninth thanks to a Jarrod Saltalamacchia home run, making it three wins in a row for the Sox in games Beckett has started.

Beckett's improved performances have coincided with a strong run by the team to get back into the thick of the American League East race. It also has the team knocking on the door of finally getting over .500 for the first time all season long.

NESN's Don Orsillo stopped by the NESN.com podcast to chat with NESN Nation's Dan Duquette about how Beckett needs to "stay angry" and continue channeling his anger on the mound, how Bobby Valentine may continue to balance playing Kevin Youkilis and Will Middlebrooks and much more.
