Miami Marlins outfielder Giancarlo Stanton nearly took his job to hit the cutoff man a little too seriously.
After a single by Buster Posey, Stanton tried to get the ball back into the infield quickly and in the process almost hit his own teammate standing in the infield.
Logan Morrison had to twist and dive to avoid being hit by his teammate’s throw. He landed in the dirt unscathed, smiling but with a look of disbelief.
The close-call wasn’t the only slip-up. Afterwards Morrison tweeted about the incident, saying “Leo aint got nothing on me! Matrix Revalation!” That prompted many Twitter users to remind him that the main character’s name was Neo, not Leo.
