The Boston Bruins season may have ended earlier than many expected, but the NHL postseason is still rolling right along.

The New York Ranger and Washington Capitals are set to square off in a pivotal Game 7 over the weekend, with a place in the Eastern Conference finals at stake. Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, the Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes prepare for a Western Conference showdown that should come down to which goalie cracks first.

The NHL is still a hot topic for now, and there's still plenty of Bruins talk to cover.

Patrice Bergeron's performance throughout the season and into the playoffs helped solidify his role as the overarching leader of the Bruins, even if his chest doesn't bear the ever-coveted captains "C." But Tyler Seguin's progress and Dougie Hamilton's future outlook appeared to be the more intriguing storylines of the Bruins offseason.
