Prince Fielder almost hit an inside-the-park home run on Thursday. That’s a thing that happened and a sentence that you can write with a straight face.

OK, maybe you’ll giggle a little writing it, but it was still a serious hitting display put on by the Tigers slugger to help his team avoid a four-game sweep at the hands of the Red Sox.
