When the Celtics jumped to a 9-0 lead to start Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Philadelphia 76ers, it looked like the C’s were primed to go up 2-0.
But the game quickly settled into a back-and-forth where both sides had trouble scoring.
Ray Allen came off the bench to score 17 points for the Celtics, but even he didn’t find the basket much until the fourth quarter, when he scored eight points. He didn’t pin the loss on the Celtics’ offensive woes, though -– he pointed to when Boston failed to keep Philadelphia from scoring down the stretch.
