His struggles with his love life have often times spilled into the public eye, as well. His latest misstep with the ladies came in Worcester, after Canseco apparently left his number in vain for a 19-year-old hostess after finishing his meal.
Canseco was flirting with a few of the waitresses and hostesses, according to Deadspin, and not having much luck with it. The site’s tipster alleged that Canseco struck out “straight swinging through” in his efforts to engage the younger female employees at a restaurant.
The site also posted a photo of what appears to be Canseco’s receipt along with a phone number he supposedly left for the girl to call.
Canseco, who is playing this summer with the Worcester Tornados, has not gotten off to the best start with the team. But that Can-Am League’s season is only getting started, and we’re guessing Canseco is, too.
