Andre Drummond, Fab Melo Lead Greatest Risk-Reward Players in 2012 NBA Draft (Photos)Every team wants the player it selects in the NBA Draft on June 28 to be the franchise’s standard-bearer for a new generation of excellence. History shows that cannot always be the case, though, so several teams will reach for players of unproven skill, hoping they will develop into a valuable asset for the team.

In many cases, the players who bring the greatest risk also bring the greatest potential reward. For a number of reasons, from conditioning concerns to unrefined fundamentals, some of these players could end up becoming this year’s biggest draft steals — or the biggest busts.
