Diamondbacks announcers Mark Grace and Daron Sutton may have had spectators thinking they were aboard the Death Star rather than at a major league stadium during Tuesday night's game against the Colorado Rockies.

During pregame introductions, the FOX Sports announcing duo dressed in full garb as stormtroopers from Star Wars. The costumes were to promote this Saturday's upcoming "Star Wars Night" at Chase Field for the D-Back's home game against Oakland. The event is more or less a costume party inviting fans to dress as their favorite characters from the series.

So it would seem that the only thing funnier than the Diamondbacks' record (26-30), which would put them in the bottom half of every division in baseball, is their announcers.

Check out the screenshot of the antics below, with a hat tip to Awful Announcing.
