BOSTON — The stars were out in full force in Boston on Sunday night for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Some of city's biggest celebrities were in the building, with a heavy emphasis on some of the Hub's most popular sports stars.
A host of Patriots were in attendance as Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski, Jerod Mayo, Kevin Faulk and Bill Belichick were all in attendance representing the defending AFC champions. Gronkowski was, of course, spotting his new hairdo, a fresh buzz cut that he got Sunday morning to help raise awareness for cancer.
All got warm receptions, but it was Belichick who got the loudest ovation. The head coach got a lengthy standing ovation, an ovation in which he received with a couple of waves and an ear-to-ear smile.
Red Sox outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury was also in attendance, and he tweeted this picture from pregame warmups.
