Carl Crawford hasn't seen the field at all this season for the Red Sox. That could be changing soon, and it looks like his rehab is coming along quite smoothly.
The speedy outfielder started a throwing regiment on Friday and has been taking batting practice for about a week. At this point, it's only a matter of time before he starts making his way through rehab assignments and gets himself back to Fenway.
Meanwhile, Daisuke Matsuzaka is finally set to return from last season's Tommy John surgery, and the Red Sox are expecting big things from the Japanese phenom.
