Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and Heat drew a rating of 7.9, a record for an NBA playoff game on cable since tracking began in 2003, according to ESPN.

The game earned a 20.7 rating in Boston, which enjoyed Keyon Dooling 3-pointers and double-digit leads most of the way until Miami made a comeback and sent the game to overtime.

The game's rating was 39 percent higher than last season's peak, in the Western Conference Finals between the Mavericks and the Thunder.
