The Celtics are at a crossroads this offseason, and they really won't know what they can do until they hear back from a future Hall of Famer.
C's president Danny Ainge said that if Kevin Garnett does not retire, it's likely that the free agent would return to Boston. Ainge also said that there's a chance that Garnett will take a wait and see approach before deciding whether or not he wants to continue playing.
Of course, the Celtics might be taking a gamble in sitting around and waiting, as they can't be totally sure what they would get from an aging Garnett.
