Clay Buchholz threw his best outing of the season on Friday night, giving up just two runs over eight innings of work.
Buchholz’s fastball command was stellar and his breaking ball was buckling the knees of just about every Blue Jay to stand in the batters box. Clay seemed awfully better and increasingly confident about his progress this season, during his postgame media session.
