Ozzie Guillen is known to enjoy poking fun, and he took advantage of a question about Daisuke Matsuzaka‘s recent resurgence when asked about the Japanese pitcher before Wednesday night’s game.
“Is he still pitching?” Guillen asked of Matsuzaka, who will start Thursday in just his third appearance in the majors since coming off the disabled list.
Guillen faced Matsuzaka a few times when managing the Chicago White Sox, and he already had a plan up his sleeve for how the Marlins would face Matsuzaka as he tries to continue the Red Sox’ dominance of their visitors. Check out the video above to hear what he had to say.
