BOSTON — If Celtics head coach Doc Rivers gets nervous before big games, he certainly doesn't show it.
Rivers was in a joking mood in his pregame news conference Sunday night at TD Garden just an hour or so before his team tipped off with the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals.
The C's coach was asked about Tiger Woods' remarkable chip-in on the 16th hole at Memorial, a birdie that helped propel Woods to victory.
Rivers called the shot "unbelievable," as he revealed that he waited to leave for the Garden in order to watch the conclusion of the tournament.
