France-England Game at Euro 2012 Bores French Fan to Sleep (Video)Soccer haters, rejoice. Those of you who claim that most of the world is insane, and soccer is truly the most boring of sports, here is your proof.

During Mondays 2012 UEFA European Championship game between England and France, video cameras caught a French fan sleeping.

The short clip made news around the world, as this was no case of someone dozing off and waking up. This guys was knocked out cold when the cameras panned his way.

The game between the two traditional powers in Group D failed to live up to its billing. The summer heat, combined with England’s cautious approach minimized any chance of a real spectacle. Joleon Lescott gave England an unlikely first-half lead before Samir Nasri evened the score ten minutes later.

The highly anticipated game ended in a 1-1 draw. Some would argue that the European Championship is the highest level of soccer (even better than the FIFA World Cup). Each game that turns out like France-England will produce snoozing fans. That would give soccer haters plenty of fodder, but they weren’t paying attention anyway.
