Henrik Lundqvist is used to being the center of attention. As arguably the best goalie on the planet, shining brightly on the biggest stage is what you have to do.
Of course, that's something of a metaphor. When you actually put Lundqvist on a stage, things can get pretty dicey apparently.
The Rangers goaltender was honored Wednesday night at the league's award gala when he was awarded the Vezina trophy, which is given to the league's best goalie. During his acceptance speech upon receiving the award, Lundqvist looked a little flustered to say the least.
That led the Swedish netminder to drop an f-bomb, perhaps the most subtle use of the word ever. He did recover quite nicely, however, laughing it off and then quickly moving on to thank his family.
