LeBron James and Dwyane Wade have made a living attacking the basket, a style of play that generally lends itself to plenty of opportunities at the charity stripe. The Celtics saw that firsthand in Games 1 and 2.
But James and Wade were limited to five combined free-throw attempts during Friday's Game 3, with Wade failing to get to the line even once.
Those figures are something you won't see from the two Miami stars very often, but the limited free-throw attempts are hardly going to alter the duo's gameplan going forward.
"We're attack guys," James said. We'll continue to attack and try to, you know, force the issue. That's what we do, and that's why we're in this position now."
James scored a game-high 34 points on Friday, while Wade tallied 18 in the loss.
