Mike Tyson Taking One-Man Show to Broadway With Help From Spike Lee Opening on July 31

The Champ is coming to Broadway.

Mike Tyson is taking his one-man show to Broadway, and he's doing so with some help from noted director Spike Lee, the Associated Press reports.The show, titled Mike Tyson: Undsiputed Truth, is set to open at the Longacre Theatre on July 31, running for just six nights through Aug. 5.

Tyson's show opened in April in Las Vegas, and it features Tyson telling the uncensored stories of his past, including his upbringing, his controversial moments as a fighter and all of the events away from the ring that have made him one of the most captivating athletes on the planet. 

"It's the same [as boxing], I just don't worry about having to the hospital afterwards," Tyson told ESPN.com when the show opened in Vegas back in April.

The show will also mark Lee's debut on Broadway.
