The NBA Summer League is a great opportunity to see the newest professionals in action while wearing an NBA team's jersey.

From July 13 through 22, 24 teams will competein a mini season in Las Vegas. The games will be played at the COX Pavilion on the UNLV (University of Nevada-Las Vegas) campus and at the Thomas & Mack Center.

This year's league will feature some of the top picks in June 28's NBA Draft, which has been the case in previous years as well. Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Chris Paul, Brandon Roy, Tyreke Evans and Blake Griffin have all played in past summer leagues.

"NBA Summer League provides fans from around the league the unique opportunity to see some of the NBA's brightest young stars competing in one location in a family-friendly environment," said NBA Senior Vice President of Events and Attraction Gail Hunter in a press release on Thursday.

During the nine-day schedule, the Celtics will play the Atlanta Hawks, Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers.
