Nyjer Morgan Argues With Reds Fan Over Foul Ball (Video)

Nyjer Morgan and Steve Bartman probably wouldn't see eye to eye.

Morgan got into it with a Reds fan at Great American Ball Park on Wednesday after the fan interfered with a foul ball that the Brewers outfielder thinks he could have caught.

Morgan chased after the foul ball during the ninth inning with the Brewers leading the Reds 8-4. As he approached the right-field wall in foul territory and leaned over to make a play, the fan also went for it, knocking the ball away in the process. Morgan wasn't too pleased with the fan's efforts, giving him a nudge before the two exchanged words.

After the game, Morgan said the incident wasn't a big deal, but it's since gotten people talking.

"It's just one of those things where we were tangled up; I could have made a play on the ball," Morgan said. "I just gave him a little, 'Get off me,' because he was all on my arm and everything. Nothing major, but everybody might blow it up a little differently."

Morgan, of course, is known for having an eccentric personality, so we can probably just chalk this one up to Tony Plush being Tony Plush.
