Paul Pierce Fan Art Shows Remarkable Likeness of Celtics Captain, Championship Banners (Photo)

Paul Pierce is well known for the massive angel wings and heart tattoo draped across his back that cover up some of the stab wounds he suffered during a near-fatal nightclub attack in 2000. He also has his nickname, "The Truth," seared into his right forearm above a shamrock.

Art involving the Celtics forward, however, is not limited to ink on his skin.

The Twitter account of Pierce's child health campaign, The Truth on Health, tweeted a picture Wednesday of a fan-drawn picture of the captain — and it's a bit of an understatement to say that the art is very well-done.

With the likeness of Pierce came an invitation to tweet any other Pierce or Celtics fan art, and the pictures quickly came rolling in.
