If Kevin Youkilis is going to be traded, then other teams are going to need to know what he’s capable of.
The Dodgers are apparently interested in the Red Sox infielder, as they have scouts at Fenway Park looking at Youkilis on Tuesday night, according to The Boston Globe’s Nick Cafardo.
This comes on the heels of additional reports that Youk was “being shopped everywhere” by the Red Sox in the hopes of finding a trade partner.
Youkilis was mired in a slump entering the three-game series against Miami, but remains in the lineup playing first base to start Tuesday’s game.
