Senate majority leader Harry Reid knows a few things about the sweet science.

The Nevada democrat was an amateur boxer back in the day, and even served as a boxing judge. Now, just a few days after the controversial Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight in Las Vegas, Reid wants there to be an investigation.

After the judges' split decision made Bradley the winner, fans and boxing experts were outraged. And Reid wants answers.

"I feel confident there's been nothing untoward," Reid told the Los Angeles Times on Tuesday. "But if an investigation makes everyone feel better, do the investigation.

"One of my very good friends was one of the judges for this fight," he added. "And from all the reports that I've seen by people on the outside who saw the fight, who attempted to be fair and judge the fight, Pacquiao won the fight."
